Angela is a Registered Social Worker working with youth (16+) and adults. She obtained her Bachelor and Master degree in social work from Carleton University and also has a 3-year diploma in Behavioural Science.
As a therapist, Angela brings a gentle, compassionate, and curious approach to her work. Angela believes that healing happens best in a collaborative space—one where you feel seen, heard, and truly understood. Angela’s goal is to create a safe and supportive environment that honours your unique experiences and guides you toward growth, self-compassion, and self-discovery.
Angela is passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as those navigating challenges in relationships, self-compassion, and emotional regulation. Together, she will help you to explore and understand what feels overwhelming and move toward practical, healing changes that align with your personal values and goals.
Angela also has a special interest in supporting family members of loved ones living with addictions or autism, offering both understanding and strategies to strengthen coping and connection.
In her practice, she integrates evidence-based modalities, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), to help clients process painful experiences and find relief in a way that feels empowering and hopeful.
Whether you’re seeking greater self-awareness, emotional balance, or tools to navigate life’s challenges, Angela would be honoured to walk alongside you—helping you rediscover your strengths and reconnect with the parts of yourself that foster healing and growth.
